I'm fundraising for Quintessentially Foundation and The Firefly Project.
This June, I will spend three days cycling 350km from Lake Zurich to St Moritz to raise money for Quintessentially Foundation, of which I am Founding Trustee. I am taking on this gruelling challenge to raise money for The Firefly Project, a child poverty initiative from the Foundation. We find, fund and support small frontline charities well-positioned to make a big difference. Our focus is on supporting disadvantaged children and young people in London, where over 700,000 children live in poverty - the highest child poverty rate in England.
Our five inspirational charity partners are:
Little Village, a baby bank, supporting families with babies and children under five living in poverty across London.
Team Up provide small-group tuition to pupils from low-income backgrounds.
Doorstep Library bring the gift of books and the joy of reading into the homes of children in disadvantaged areas of London.
The Kids Network provide mentors to support children’s lives in the lead up to and often during the transition from primary into secondary school.
20/20 Levels is for underrepresented young people with big ideas and a drive to succeed.
Through The Firefly Project, we scale our charity partners’ successful interventions for young people by providing them with unrestricted funding, tailored organisational support and untapped networks and connections. Our charity partners are working tirelessly at the coalface, and I would love you to help me raise as much money as possible for them by donating via this page.
